Once the needles are inserted the initial sensation described in another question, deminishes and a more generalised feeling of relaxation and/or heaviness of the body happens.   Many people say that they feel relaxed but also alert (a wonderful way to feel).  Others say that they can feel energy moving in different ways in their bodies during treatment.   Occasionally people will say that they feel nothing particular but will report feeling "more energy" or "more relaxed" the next day, or even over the next few days.   This is another example of how individual acupuncture treatment is.
